Monthly Garden Council Meeting

Standard

Aloha Gardeners,

We are holding our monthly Garden Council Meeting this Thursday July 26th at 9am. If you would like to attend please join us at the picnic tables outside the coffee shop near the Napili Market.

We welcome all members to attend especially any interested in joining the council. We need more council members to help with the garden leadership and growth. Please remember we reserve some time at the end of the meeting to address your concerns.

We are working on the water issues, but this will take some time. For now we are thankful for the water we do have.

We look forward to seeing you this Wednesday and Saturday for our Give Back Days from 8am – 11am. We need your help to work on projects for the garden. If you prefer to work on your own please email lindakubit@gmail.com for an assignment. There is always plenty of weeding to be done especially on our pathways.

Aloha,
Linda

About napiligarden

We are a community organization of gardeners farming 180 individual plots to organically grow food for our families and community. Our mission is to cultivate a community rooted in sustainability by providing a place for cooperative organic gardening. The Napili Community Garden organizating council is made up of an active, enthusiastic and engaged group of gardeners who have been busy building infrastructure and have just formalized the structure and governance of our community organization. Ulupono Initiative has generously subleased a 3.6 acre of land just above Honoapi'ilani Hwy for use as the Napili Community Garden. The garden is located on former pineapple lands that have been out of production for a sufficient period of time to be eligible for organic certification.

Please share your thoughts with the community
