Plot Descriptions and what is included

Included in the plot fee is:

• A piece of land in a stunning location with ocean views
• Use of standard garden tools
• Use of weed whackers
• Free Parking
• Unlimited mulch
• Piped in agricultural water with each plot having it’s own faucet. (water supply has been inconsistent in the last few years but we have many large water storage tanks around the property)
• Fruit from our orchard as available
• Sharing of knowledge

Members are required to contribute 2 hours per month per plot in community service projects to help keep the garden running.

Plot Options

Below are brief descriptions and pricing of our plot options. The photos shown are of plots belonging to current members and give you an idea of the kinds of gardens people have set up.

Small

Our entry level plot size is 10 x 20 and perfect for somebody who is new to the garden. These smaller plots allow you to get a sense of how much work is involved and how much food you want to grow. Many of our members start out with the smaller plots and as time goes on discover they love gardening so much they want to expand.

The cost of the 10 x 20 plot is $50 per year.

Medium

Our medium sized plots are 20 x 20 and these are the most popular as they allow for small trees to be planted along with a lot more space for food. They are ideal for gardeners growing food for their families.

The cost of the 20 x 20 plot is $100 per year.

Superplot

Our Superplots are exactly that – super big! Their average size is 50 x 60 feet. These plots take a tremendous amount of work and are most suitable for groups i.e. several families working together, a group of friends or special interest groups.

The cost of a Superplot is $660 per year.
